Planning permission passedPlanning permission has now been granted for Phase 2 of our expansion plans at Intelect Court. Building work is scheduled to start in February on a purpose built 4,000 square feet workshop and office unit to accommodate our Machine Services company. The unit will be located to the right of Stephenson House which we completed last year. |

Amada machines prove to be a winning partnershipOur fabrication department are enjoying the benefits of having the new Amada Laser and Press Brake machines. Turn around time has been dramatically reduced having the machines in-house. Both machines are CNC which utilise intelligent software to convert CAD drawings into laser cut or folded products. |

Pipework Services utilise the most efficient boiler on the marketThe boilers were installed at a store in Lincolnshire. The manufacturers boast an impressive 110.9% efficiency currently the highest rated on the market. Energy efficiency is high on the priority of the Pipework Department. A full pipework installation was provided and commissioned by our GAS SAFE registered engineers. |
Electrical Department - Off to a good start in 2010We are pleased to announce a good start to 2010 for the Electrical Contracting Department. They have managed to secure contracts within familiar territory such as the Food Processing, Water, Chemical and Metals industries. Well done to all involved in the NICEIC inspections; we sailed through our renewal for this years enrolment. We are currently on site in food factories , heavy steel industry, water industry, below is some examples of work done on a recent project on a water industry site. Illustrated below, work recently completed as part of the works upgrade at a Sewage Treatment Works. This project was undertaken for Carillion Water plc and was completed on time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the NWL acceptance group. The above view shows part of the Washpactor Installation at the Inlet Works and the view below shows an E&H Magnetic Flow Meter installed at the Storm Tanks.

Big plans for this year for the Control Panel DepartmentThe new Auto Cad 2010 intelligent software that we are now operating on has been received enthusiastically. The Panel Department are manufacturing a wide variety of control panels at present. These photographs show a Conveyor System Motor Control Centre.

BRIDGEPORT : A machinists favouriteThe Machine Services have recently acquired another CNC Milling machine to increase their versatility. They are enjoying regular orders from the Petrochemical and Food industries at the moment. Machine Services are looking forward to their new premises this year and intend to capitalise on the move. Phill Bodsworth hopes to introduce new customers to the Machines Service during 2010 as he says the move to new premises completes the One Stop Shop. |
